Born in the streets of West Palm Beach, Dead Ego Club® is the vision of Creative Director and Founder Joey Antonellis. Rooted in spirituality and shaped by a diverse past, the brand blends elevated design with authentic streetwear energy. Each piece is crafted with intention, attention to detail, and premium materials; designed to serve as a daily reminder to move with purpose and live with integrity.

The idea for Dead Ego Club hit him one day while thinking about his wife’s tattoo: “Starve the ego, feed the soul.” It sparked something, and from that moment Dead Ego Club was born.

The brand comes from Joe’s own journey. For years, he lived on stage as a touring bassist in a heavy metal band, chasing success and validation. But getting everything he thought he wanted didn’t fill the void, it only made the questions louder.

Joe had put his hope in everything the world had to offer and was left empty-handed with nothing but broken promises. Surrounded by lights and attention, he started to experience severe anxiety and fell into a deep depression when he no longer recognized the man in the mirror and became a stranger to himself. Joe experienced a true identity crisis, realizing the person he built himself up to be in the world was not who he really was. Feeling trapped inside someone else’s life, he realized he couldn’t keep running from his childhood; it was time to finally face reality.

Joe had exhausted every avenue to find peace and didn’t know where to turn, until one afternoon in 2020 he decided to try the one thing he had ignored his entire life. As he broke down in his car, he decided to cry out to God…

“I don’t know if You are real, but if You are who they say You are, I need You. I don’t even know if I’m doing this right or what to say, but if You can hear me, I promise if You help me, I will give You my life and tell everyone who saved me.”

Joe’s story is one of hope, that there is no such thing as “too far gone,” and you are never out of God’s reach. He now uses his life as a walking testimony of what God can do if you surrender your will for His and accept that we don’t have all the answers.
